In "Beverly Hills Chihuahua," Delgado is a former police dog who becomes injured while trying to rescue a kidnapped dog. He is initially left for dead by the antagonist, but later ends up reuniting with Chloe and helps her in her journey back home to Beverly Hills. Though he initially struggles with his injury, he eventually overcomes it.
